Who we are

Traditional botany, modern evidence

Sanqi Therapeutics is a skin-science company. We take an ingredient with a long history in the traditional herbal practice of Yunnan, isolate the part that matters, and test it to modern standards before it goes into a product.

Our first product, SQ37 PPS Calming Barrier Lotion, is made for dry, reactive skin. It passed 8 safety panels and 4 stability panels before launch.

Our technology

From root to PPS

Panax notoginseng, known in China as sanqi, grows at altitude in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, where long sunshine hours favor the build-up of its active components.

We purify its polysaccharide fraction into PPS, a patented ingredient. In SQ37, PPS works alongside the formula to help skin hold moisture, support the barrier, and calm the look of redness on dry, reactive skin.

Research program

Where the science is heading

Laboratory research has studied polysaccharides from Panax species for how they interact with skin immune signaling, including regulatory T cells (Tregs). We are building on that work to understand PPS more fully.
